After the render of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra that surfaced earlier today, renders of the Galaxy S22 has also surfaced, thanks to 91 Mobiles. This shows the phone in Green, Pink Gold, Phantom Black, and Phantom White colours. Unlike the S22 Ultra, the S22 has a flat display and the bezels are much smaller than the predecessor.
Based on earlier rumours, the phone will pack a 6.09-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The phone is expected to be powered by Exynos 2200 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoCs, depending on the market.
The image shows triple rear cameras, which could pack a 50MP main camera this time along with ultra-wide and telephoto cameras. It is said to measure 146×70×7.6mm and weigh 167 grams, making it a compact smartphone. According to rumours, the phone could come with a 3700mAh battery and support 25W fast charging as well as wireless charging.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 series is expected to be introduced at an unpacked event on February 8, 2022, with pre-orders starting on the same day. It is rumoured to go on sale globally from February 18, 2022.
