Last year, Redmi confirmed that it will launch a Redmi K50 series phone powered by the Dimensity 9000 in 2022. Today, three Redmi K50 series phones have been certified in China, according to leaker Digital Chat Station. Last month, the company confirmed that the Redmi K50 series new product launch conference will be held after the Spring Festival.
It also confirmed that the new K50 gaming Edition will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, dual VC cooling system, CyberEngine ultra-wideband motor and pack a 4700mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging.
The new models are Redmi K50 with the model number 22021211RC, which is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 870, and the GeekBench listing that surfaced back in November revealed 12GB of RAM and Android 12 out of the box.
The Redmi phone with the model number 22041211AC is expected to be the Redmi K50 Pro powered by the upcoming Dimensity 8000 SoC and the Redmi K50 Pro+ with the model number 22011211C is said to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC.
We should know more details about the Redmi K50 series in the coming days, before these go official in China sometime later this month.
