Apple is expected to launch its new iPhone SE 5G smartphone and a new iPad Air in an online event on March 8th, according to Mark Gurman. Based on his Bloomberg Power On newsletter, Apple will launch at least one new Mac this spring, but it is not clear if it will be launched at the same event.
According to earlier rumours, the new iPhone SE will be powered by A15 Bionic chip and come with 5G support. It is expected to retain the same design as the SE 2 with a Touch ID sensor embedded into the Home Button. The phone is also said to retain the $399 price tag.
The new iPad Air 5th Gen is also expected to come with an A15 chip, 5G support, 12MP Ultra Wide front camera with Center Stage support, and Quad-LED True Tone flash. The upcoming iPad Air is said to retain the same design as the current model, which includes a 10.9-inch display with slim bezels, a Touch ID power button, and a USB-C port.
The new Mac that is expected to launch in the Spring could be a high-end Mac mini powered by the M1 Pro and M1 Max chips, after it surfaced last year.
