Nokia C2 2nd Edition, C21 and C21 Plus Android 11 Go Edition budget phones announced

HMD Global has announced Nokia C2 2nd Edition, successor to the C2 model that was introduced in 2020, and the C21 and C21 Plus models as the successor to last year’s C20 and C20 Plus that were introduced last year. All these run Android 11 (Go Edition) and the company has promised quarterly security updates for two years from the global launch date.

The C2 2nd Edition only has face unlock, but the C21 and the C21 Plus feature a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner that the C20 series lacked. The C21 Plus comes with two different battery sizes, 4000 mAh and 5050 mAh, and the phone’s body is supported by an inner metal chassis and toughened cover glass – IP52-rated for extra protection from dirt, dust and water.
