Google has introduced a couple of new updates to some of their apps on iOS and iPad. There are two new widgets for Google Drive and Google Translate, and the Gmail and Chat apps have been updated to work better with Focus on your iPhone or iPad.
Google Translate now has a widget that has all of the app’s most popular features quickly accessible. Users can quickly take a photo to translate text, use conversation mode to chat in two languages and translate copied text with a single tap.
Google Drive also got a new XL sized widget that is designed for the iPad. It will show more files along with shortcuts to quickly access Priority files and Shared drives.
Along with this, Google Drive will continue to offer its older widgets that allow users to better customize their experience on their iPad.
Google is also introducing an update later in the month for Gmail and Chat apps. Users will get more control over which Chat and Gmail notifications can break through Focus on your iPhone or iPad. There will now be an option to select which specific chat messages can alert users when notifications are silent. Chat notifications will also soon show the sender’s profile photo.
