Activision has officially revealed the date for one of the most anticipated events, Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2022, which will begin on March 31st. All users, from all over the world, can compete in the tournament and move up to the top 16 teams for exciting in-game rewards.
The top players will advance through the ranks and be entitled to compete in the grand finals in December for a $1.7 million prize pool. This grand prize makes it one of the most expensive single events in Call of Duty tournament history when it comes to prize money. For competing in the championship, every player will receive in-game awards such as new weapons, skins, operators, and much more. Also, every team that participates in the event will receive a new frame and calling card as a bonus.
The tournament is divided into five stages, with the first two taking place between March and May. This comprises solo and team play, which puts all the competing teams to the challenge. The regional qualifiers will begin in June and run until July after the first two stages.
Each weekend of the qualifications will feature qualifying matches in diverse locations. Teams that successfully complete the regional qualifiers will advance to the regional play-offs in August, where the top team will earn a place in the final. In addition, players who have completed ten ranked multiplayer matches and earned 60 points are entitled to Stage 2 of the tournament and can earn more exciting awards in the following weeks.
