The Far Cry 6 game has a free weekend on Xbox, PC, and PlayStation beginning Thursday, March 24, 2022. In addition to its free weekend, Ubisoft has announced that the Far Cry 6: Stranger Things crossover mission “The Vanishing” is now available for all players for free!
Newcomers can preload Far Cry 6 on PC as well as PlayStation platforms on March 22 at 12 p.m. PT and will have access to the full game when the free weekend begins, including the coming Stranger Things crossover mission based on the Netflix series, as well as all previously released free downloadable content—all of which is playable in co-op.
Those who wish to continue exploring the island of Yara in Far Cry 6 beyond the free weekend can do so by purchasing the title and its Season Pass at a discounted price.

According to the site – You can grab it directly from the Ubisoft Store for a 50% discount till the end of March. You can get 50% off numerous editions of the game via the Epic Games Store on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. However, Sony’s offer excludes the Deluxe and Ultimate editions. There will also be discounts on the Vaas and Pagan Min-themed DLC for the game. The game is readily accessible for free until March 27, 2022.
To coincide with the free weekend, Ubisoft announced
The Vanishing, a new free Stranger Things crossover mission, available March 24 for all Far Cry 6 players. The Vanishing will bring a stealth-horror-survival gameplay experience to Far Cry players for the first time with mysterious characters and new lore. In The Vanishing, players will enter a twisted version of Yara inspired by the Upside-Down, where Dani discovers that Yarans are disappearing and no one is safe – not even Chorizo. Players will be able to explore Stranger Things-inspired locations, such as a hidden bunker and an abandoned laboratory. Dani’s mission – with new skins for a flamethrower and shotgun – is to search for Chorizo and find out what happened to the abducted Yarans.
