Three new monitors were unveiled by Samsung at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January, including the Samsung Smart Monitor M8. The Smart Monitor M8 is now available to pre-order globally, the company announced today.
The M8 is the latest addition to the Smart Monitor series, with an upgraded, elegant, and slim design available in four new colors—Warm White, Sunset Pink, Daylight Blue, and Spring Green—in 32-inch sizes with UHD resolution as well as a SlimFit Cam.
The Samsung Smart Monitor M8 is only 11.4 mm thick, far thinner than prior generations. It has a 32-inch 4K Ultra HD display with HDR 10+ support, 99% sRGB colors, 400 nits of brightness, and 1.07 billion colors, as well as 400 nits of brightness. Day or night, Adaptive Picture technology adjusts the brightness automatically.
The Smart Monitor M8 is a hybrid that could also double as a Smart TV to enjoy streaming services, unlike other monitors when it comes to productivity. It runs on the same Tizen platform and is equipped with an infrared remote. It runs Tizen OS and also functions as a SmartThings Hub, allowing complete integration with Samsung’s IoT ecosystem, including light switches and plug power.
The Workspace User Interface brings together all the services that are needed to work together on one screen. This means that users can connect wirelessly to a Windows or Mac computer and use a variety of useful features, like Samsung DeX, Apple AirPlay 2, and Microsoft 365 cloud service, as well as mirror content from a smartphone to the M8.
It has a SlimFit camera that can be attached to the monitor magnetically and moves around, and it supports video chat apps like Google Duo. Face Tracking and Auto Zoom are also incorporated, which quickly identify a person’s face on screen as well as precisely focus on an object.
Both the Bixby and Amazon Alexa voice assistants are supported by the Smart Monitor. The M8’s built-in 2.2-Channel speakers provide richer, more realistic audio for a more engaging overall feel. There’s a USB Type-C port with video and power delivery capabilities, as well as 65W fast charging. The Smart Monitor M8 can also be used to stream games and connect wireless devices.

The Samsung Smart Monitor M8 32″ is priced at $699.99 (Rs. 53409 approx.) and is now available for pre-order in several countries, including the US.
