Reliance Jio today launched ‘calendar month validity’ prepaid plan, making it the first to launch a monthly plan instead of its existing plans with 28 days validity. The new plan makes reacharge user-friendly and is also advised by TRAI, said the company.
Priced at Rs. 259, compared to Rs. 239 for the 28 days plan, this offers data of 1.5GB/Day, unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day and complimentary subscription to Jio Apps, same as the old plan, but with two additional days of validity.

Like other Jio prepaid plans, ₹259 plan can be recharged multiple times at one go. The advance recharged plan goes into a queue and automatically becomes active on the date of expiry of the current active plan, said the company.
The new Rs. 259 pre-paid plan is already available to recharge from Jio website and apps. Hope we can expect 1 GB / day, 2 GB/day and 3 GB/day monthly plans in the future.
