HONOR had a new product launch event in Malaysia today, where the company unveiled multiple smartphones and a laptop. In terms of smartphones, the HONOR X7, X8, and X9 5G were unveiled. Among these smartphones, the HONOR X8 was already released in the UAE, as we covered a few weeks ago. Let’s have a look at the HONOR X7 and X9 5G smartphones in this post.
HONOR X9 5G has a 6.81-inch Full HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate 19.9:9 aspect ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 695 5G SoC with 8GB of RAM with 2GB of addition RAM Turbo RAM expansion feature, has a 48MP rear camera along with 2MP depth and 2MP macro cameras and a 16MP front camera.
It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 8.05mm sleek design and a 4800mAh battery with support for 66W HONOR SuperCharge fast charging that fills 81% of the battery with just 10-minute charge.
On the other hand, HONOR X7 has a 6.74-inch HD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate 19.9:9 aspect ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 680 4G SoC with 4GB of RAM with 2GB of addition RAM Turbo RAM expansion feature, has a 48MP rear camera along with 5MP ultra ultra-wide and 2MP depth and 2MP macro cameras and a 8MP front camera.
It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 8.62mm thickness and a 5000mAh battery with support for 22.5W HONOR SuperCharge fast charging that promises 3 hours of video playback with a 10-minute charge.

Pricing and Availability:
The HONOR X9 5G is priced at RM 1299 (US$ 308 / Rs. 23,315 approx.) for the single 8GB + 128GB version. It is available to order and will go on sale in Malaysia from April 7th. There is also a HONOR X9 4G model priced at RM 1099 (US$ 260 / Rs. 19,725 approx.) which will be available from April 14th.
