Samsung Galaxy M33 5G with 6.6″ FHD+ 120Hz display, Exynos 1280, 6000mAh battery launched in India at an introductory starting price of Rs. 17999

Samsung just launched the Galaxy M33 5G, the company’s latest mid-range 5G smartphone and the successor to last year’s Galaxy M32 5G in India, as it had promised. The phone has a  6.6″ Infinity-V 120Hz FHD+ LCD screen, is powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 1280 5nm SoC with up to 8GB of RAM. The phones run Android 12 out of the box and will get two years of Android OS updates and 4 years of security updates.

Voice Focus technology cuts out loud background noise and amplifies the receiver’s voice, so that every detail is captured clearly even when you are in a crowded place or in noisy environments, says the company.

The phone has a quad rear camera setup with 50MP main camera, 5MP ultra-wide, 2MP depth and 2MP macro cameras and a 8MP front camera. The phone has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front and packs a 6000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging, but doesn’t come with a charger in the box.

Pricing and availability 

The Samsung Galaxy M33 5G comes in Ocean Blue and Green colours, and comes at an introductory price of Rs. 17,999 for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version and the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs Rs. 19,499. The original price of the phone is Rs. 18,999 and Rs. 20,499 for the 6GB and 8GB models, respectively.

It will be available from Amazon.in, Samsung India online store and select retail stores starting from April 8th.
