OPPO just launched the F21 Pro series, the company’s latest mid-range phones in the F series in India, as it had announced. Both the phones have a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen, but the F21 Pro has a 90Hz screen and the 5G model has a 60Hz screen. The F21 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 680 SoC and the 5G model is powered by Snapdragon 695 SoC. These pack a 8GB of RAM and 5GB of RAM expansion.
There is a 64MP rear camera along with a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots in both the phone, but the F21 pro has a 2MP microscope lens with support for 15x/30x magnification—that lets users explore textures, colours, shapes and sizes at a microscopic level, and is backed by an Orbit Light. The 5G model has a 2MP macro camera, and has a Dual-Ring Floating Notification Light around its rear cameras that pulsate when the phone is switched on, while on recharge or when you receive any notification.
On the front the F21 Pro has a 32MP selfie camera—backed by Sony’s IMX709 RGBW (red, blue, green, white) selfie sensor that the company says is 60% more sensitive to light allowing users to get crisp, clear and well-exposed photographs. The phones pack a 4500mAh battery with support for 33W SuperVOOC fast charging that can charge 31% in 15 minutes and a 100% in 63 minutes.
The F21 Pro’s Sunset Orange variant sports a Fibreglass-Leather design on its back that doubles as a ‘frameless’ battery cover to make the phone thin, light and durable, according to the company. The lychee-grain leather for the base material is waterproof and also heavily wear-resistant. The Cosmic Black variant of the F21 Pro uses OPPO Glow technology to make the back cover look glossy while giving it a matte-in-hand feel that is fingerprint- and stain-resistant, according to the company.
The F21 Pro 5G comes in Cosmic Black and Rainbow Spectrum colours. The Rainbow Spectrum model uses a three-layer texture and a two-layer coating process that gives its back cover a matte finish with a subtle glittery appearance. Together, the layers create an iridescent and prismatic effect that reflects red to mint green, yellow to purple, and green to pink.

The OPPO F21 Pro is priced at Rs. 22,999 and will be available from 15th April onwards, while the OPPO F21 Pro 5G is priced at Rs. 26,999 and will go on sale from 21st April across online and mainline retailers. Pre-orders for the phones will start from 6PM on Amazon.in.
