Xiaomi today at its event launched its Smart TV 5A series, as it had promised. These come in 32-inch HD ready, 40 and 43-inch Full HD models with immersive Horizon display with minimal bezels. Both the smart TVs feature Vivid Picture Engine (VPE), a set of software and hardware tweaks that ensures accurate screen calibration, deeper contrasts and perfect colour reproduction.
These come with Patch Wall, a UI layer on top of the Android OS that’s based on deep learning AI technology that can curate content based on recommendations from 30_ content partners. The Mi Quick Wake feature lets you can resume watching your show or movie from where you left off in less than 5 seconds. These run Android TV 11 and come with built-in Chromecast and Google Assistant, as well as Data Saver feature.

Pricing and availability
The Xiaomi Smart TV 5A 32″ HD ready TV is priced at Rs. 15,499, the 40″ FHD model costs Rs. 22,999 and the 43″ FHD model is priced at Rs. 25,999. These will be available from Flipkart, mi.com, Mi Home stores and offline stores starting from April 30th.
