OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G Unboxing and First Impressions

OnePlus launched Nord CE 2 Lite 5G, the company’s latest Nord CE series phone, today. This has a 6.59″ FHD+ LCD 120Hz screen, is powered by Snapdragon 695 SoC and pack a 5000mAh battery. Here we have the unboxing and first impressions of the phone.

It features a 6.59-inch (1080 x 2412 pixels) Full HD+ 401 ppi 20:9 LCD screen with 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, the Nord CE 2 Lite 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 695 SoC with support for several 5G bands. The phone runs Android 12 with OxygenOS 12.1 on top, and the company has promised 2 Android OS updates and 3 years of security updates for the phone.

There is a single 16MP front camera with Sony IMX471 sensor inside the tiny punch-hole, same as the CE 2. There is an earpiece on the top.

Coming to button placements, the power button that embeds the fingerprint scanner is present on the right. Hybrid Dual SIM slot and the volume rockers are present on the left. The secondary microphone is present on the top. The 3.5mm audio jack, primary microphone, USB Type-C port and the loudspeaker grill are present on the bottom.

The phone has triple rear cameras that include a 64MP main camera with f/1.79 aperture, EIS, 2MP depth and 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. It supports 1080p video recording at 30fps. Check out some camera samples.

The phone is 8.5mm thick and weighs 195 grams. The Blue Tide version has a smooth back with a gradient finish that chances from blue and yellow when light hits it.

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G comes starts at Rs. 19,999 for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version. It will be available from OnePlus.in, OnePlus Store App, Amazon.in, OnePlus experience stores as well as authorized partner outlets starting from April 30th.
