Today, Garmin announced a new hybrid smartwatch in India. Gramin’s latest smart wearable widens its offering with features like an OLED display, an almost week-long battery life, and a slew of fitness options. This comes after the launch of the Garmin Instinct 2 rugged GPS smartwatches in India.
Garmin’s Vivomove Sport smartwatch is designed to be fashionable and stylish. It’s a hybrid smartwatch, which implies that it appears like a conventional smartwatch but has a lot of smart functionalities. An OLED screen, body battery energy monitoring, all-day stress tracking, sophisticated sleep monitoring, and integrated GPS are some of the important features.
The concealed OLED circular display of the Garmin Vivomove Sport is 0.34 inches by 0.73 inches (72 x 154 pixels). The case is made of fiber-reinforced polymer, while the lenses are made of chemically toughened glass. The watch is equipped with a 20 mm quick-release silicon strap. The smartwatch weighs 33.8 grams, including the straps.
It comes with the latest Bluetooth technology for connectivity, just like other smartwatches. The wearable also has smart notifications, text response, call rejects, connected GPS, calendar, weather, and phone find. With its 5-day smartwatch and 6-day watch mode, the Vivomove Sport seems to have a long battery life.
It has built-in sports modules for yoga, strength, Pilates, cardio, treadmill, cycling, and much more. With the built-in GPS, it can also track distance away and speed during outside walks, runs, and even bike rides. It tracks steps, calories, intensity minutes, and more all throughout the day. It features an accelerometer, an ambient light sensor, and an SpO2 monitor to detect blood oxygen levels.
The device is 5 ATM water and sweat resistant, making it suitable for both rainy days and the gym. Among the other features are a stress monitor, a relaxation reminder, advanced sleep monitoring (including sleep stages), and women’s health tracking. Finally, it has safety and tracking features that send out a message with the user’s location to emergency contacts.

Garmin’s hybrid smartwatch, the Vivomove Sport, is priced at Rs 18,990. The wearable will be offered in Ivory, Cool Mint, and Black starting today, May 5, with the Cocoa color coming very soon. The smartwatch can be purchased at Nykaa and Garmin store outlets.
