Samsung is gearing up to introduce its Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 smartphones later this year. Now the first CAD-based render for the Z Fold 4, the company’s next flagship foldable smartphone, has surfaced, thanks to @OnLeaks. This shows a familiar foldable design, but the rear camera arrangement is different compared to the previous model.
According to the latest rumours, the phone is said to feature a 7.6-inch 23:9 aspect ratio foldable AMOLED screen compared to 24.5:9 in the predecessor, so it should be slightly wider and shorter. The cover 6.2-inch display is also said to be wider with 6:5 aspect ratio compared 5:4 in the Z Fold 3. The phone is said to measure 155x130x7.1mm when unfolded compared to 158.2×128.1 x 6.4mm.
The phone is rumoured to pack a 108MP primary camera compared to 12MP and is also said to get 3x optical zoom telephoto camera compared to 2x in the predecessor. We can expect improvements to the under screen camera in the foldable screen. It is said to retain the 4400mAh battery with support for 25W wired charging and should also support wireless charging. The new Z Flip and Z Fold phones are said to be powered by Snapdragon Gen 1+ SoCs that are expected to be introduced soon.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the Galaxy Z Fold 4 are expected to be introduced sometime in August.
