Motorola’s upcoming RAZR said to feature bigger screens

Motorola’s forthcoming Razr 3, codenamed “Maven,” foldable device has been the subject of leaks in recent months, and the device is expected to feature new hardware as well as an improved design. Nevertheless, the very same clamshell design shape is predicted, and the device is expected to be released first in China, in mid-July or early August, and then in other global markets.

The Razr 3 will have hardware that is more in line with a real flagship phone than the Razr 2. At the very least, a report claims that the device will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip and will likely come with a 120Hz display.

With an estimated screen size of roughly 3.0″ (compared to the 2.7″ found on the current Razr model), display industry specialist Ross Young claims that this will be an improvement over its predecessor. It will also have a 6.7″ primary foldable display developed by China Star, up from the current Razr version’s 6.2″ screen size.
