Today, Acer held its annual next@acer event, where it unveiled new laptops throughout its entire line-up, such as the new Swift 3 OLED, Spin 5 and Spin 3 laptops, as well as TravelMate business laptops. Furthermore, the firm upgrade includes ConceptD’s creators’ lineup. The company specifically introduced the new ConceptD 5, ConceptD 5 Pro, ConceptD 500, and ConceptD 100.
Acer ConceptD 5 and ConceptD 5 Pro
The ConceptD 5 series will now utilize a 16-inch 16:10 display. Indeed, 16:10 laptops have become increasingly prevalent. Also, it now comes with a 3,840×2,400, 400-nit OLED screen, which makes the blacks darker and the colors brighter. Even with an OLED panel, Acer is devoted to color accuracy. The company still promises PANTONE colors and Delta E2 calibration.
The battery is 99.98 WHr, the largest available. It comes with an Intel Core i7-12700H and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti with Studio drivers or an RTX A5500 on the ConceptD 5 Pro. It has a port for a full-size SD card 7.0, an HDMI 2.1 port, a Thunderbolt 4 port, and a number of other current interfaces that you would expect to find. Additionally, the 1.55mm keyboard comes included with the amber backlight that is a trademark of ConceptD products.
Acer ConceptD 500 and ConceptD 100
While the Acer ConceptD 500 is a 20L desktop, the ConceptD 100 is designed to take up less space in your home. The first version features a significant change that involves removing the wood panel from the top and replacing it with a wood accent instead. Both models can have CPUs from Intel’s 12th generation, but the ConceptD 500 can have up to a Core i9 and the ConceptD 100 can have up to a Core i7.
The ConceptD 500 comes equipped with up to an NVIDIA RTX A4000 for graphics, and the ConceptD 100 can come equipped with either a T400 or T1000 depending on the configuration picked. Because the goal of both of these designs is to pack as much power as they possibly can into an attractive compact, it should come as no surprise that the ConceptD 500 has a higher power performance rating.
