The Redmi Note 11T series will be introduced in China next week, but the priority will be on other product lines. The company is now preparing to release the next-generation Mi Band 7 as well. Today, the company put out a teaser poster that says the Mi Band 7 will be out on May 24 in China along with the Redmi Note 11T series.
According to the teaser poster, the design of the new wearable device appears to be very akin to its predecessor. The Mi Band 7 is expected to come in both a standard and an NFC version, very much like the earlier models.
Weibo’s post reveals that Xiaomi’s future fitness band will have a 1.62-inch AMOLED display, which will have a resolution of 192×490 pixels and an always-on display (AOD). The display area has also been increased by 25% over the previous Xiaomi Band 6.
In order to track one’s health and fitness, it will be compatible with a variety of sports models. SpO2, heart rate, sleep monitoring, and other health-related metrics can be tracked via the band. Among other things, the post states that the band will have smart notifications and more.
Xiaomi’s Senior Vice President and President of the Smartphone Department, Zeng Xuezhong, announced on Weibo that the Mi Band 7 will include a bigger runway-shaped touchscreen. As per him, the Mi Band 7 will support over 300 bus cards and include NFC function. In his opinion, this is the strongest Mi Band yet.
