Back in March of this year, Carl Pie, the founder of Nothing, stated that the debut of the company’s first smartphone, which will be called “Nothing Phone (1),” will take place in the summer of 2022. Allround-PC says that the company plans to put the product on the market in July of this year.
But the company probably didn’t say when they would announce the Nothing phone (1). This week, Nothing showed off some new details about the upcoming Nothing phone (1). For example, it would have a transparent back, support wireless charging, or have a frame made of recycled aluminums, among other things.
In addition, Nothing has partnered with key manufacturers, including Qualcomm, Google, and Samsung. Recent reports indicate that the forthcoming smartphone will leverage Qualcomm’s Snapdragon mobile platform. The company’s software runs on its own Android interface, called Nothing OS, could be based on Android 12. The Nothing Launcher, which came out a month ago, lets you try out the interface.
It won’t be long before the full reveal. Summer 2022, coming to a (phone) screen near you.

The report does not indicate whether or not the company will host a launch event or conduct its first sale on the specified date. The source also says that the phone would cost about €500 (about INR 41,390).
