The Xiaomi 12 Ultra is the most anticipated flagship in the Android world in recent times, thanks to the company’s recent partnership with a renowned German-based optical lens manufacturer Leica, for the camera-centric phone. Now, a well-known leaker, @OnLeaks, has posted renders of this upcoming camera flagship smartphone.
The Xiaomi 12 Ultra will have rounded edges and a curved display on top, as well as a large circular camera housing at the back, and will measure 164.3×74.6×8.4 mm and weigh 234g. It is said to ohave a 6.6-inch QHD+ AMOLED 120Hz refresh rate screen with a resolution of 1440×3200 pixels in a 20:9 aspect ratio, and the panel will support 1 billion colours (10bit), HDR10+, and will come with a peak brightness of 1700 nits.
In terms of cameras, the large circular camera housing has seven cut-outs for cameras, flashlights, and other sensors along with Leica branding. It is said to feature a 50MP primary shooter, a 48MP wide-angle sensor, and a 48MP periscope lens for zoom capabilities. It will have a 20MP selfie shooter in a punch hole setup on the front.
Aside from these primary specifications, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will have a dual stereo speaker setup, a Type C port, an IR blaster (possibly due to the small cut-out at the top of the phone), the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, and 256GB or 512GB of storage.
The smartphone is expected to be priced around US $1,350 (approx. Rs. 1,04,810) and will be released in the July as stated by the company earlier when they confirmed their partnership with Leica. More information, such as benchmarks, live images, and other details, should be available in the coming days.
