Sennheiser, a premium German audio peripheral manufacturer, has announced the release of the Sennheiser IE 600, its all-new flagship wired earphones, in India. The headphones are made of high-quality materials and are designed in Germany before being manufactured in Ireland.
The main selling point of this IE 600 is that it was created using a patented 3D printing process and contains ZR01 amorphous zirconium, a metal with three times the hardness and flexural strength of high-performance steel. The IE 600 surface finish, which is made of metal powder, is corrosion and scratch resistant.
It also has an acoustic back volume and precision-molded resonator chambers, which contribute to the earphones’ high-fidelity sound. The earphones’ housing is made of gold-plated MMCX connectors that support cable diameters of 4.8 mm and less, allowing listeners to connect to a variety of audio sources as well as hi-fi components with balanced outputs. The IE 600 comes with both 3.5 mm and 4.4 mm sizes.
Sennheiser’s TrueResponse transducer, a single 7 mm driver responsible for the IE 600’s extra-wide frequency range of 4 Hz-46.5 kHz and ultra-low distortion, allows for distortion-free music reproduction.
The firm claims that it has tuned the acoustic back volume inside the nozzle of the IE 600 to achieve a tonally neutral, intimate, and emotional sound. The acoustic system has also been optimized to produce a steep bass slope.
