Xiaomi has refreshed the Xiaomi 12 Series with the release of a new smartphone known as the Xiaomi 12 Lite. To recall, the smartphone was already on sale in Azerbaijan, and its specifications had leaked. The back cover of the smartphone has a matte colour gradient, and the rear cameras are housed in an elegant metal ring.
In terms of specifications, it has a 6.55-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 778G Mobile Platform and a 4300mAh battery that can be charged quickly with a 67W charger.
Although the core specifications appear mediocre, Xiaomi has worked on the phone’s look and design, which includes thin bezels and curved sides, as well as a small punch-hole front camera. The smartphone is one of the thinnest and lightest smartphones on the market, weighing only 173g and measuring 7.29mm.
It has a triple camera setup on the back, which includes a 108MP main sensor which is a 1/1.52” Samsung HM2 sensor, an 8MP Ultra-Wide sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. It has a 32-megapixel front-facing camera with autofocus.

Xiaomi 12 Lite comes in Lite Green, Lite Pink and priced at US$ 399 (Rs. 31,635 approx.) for 6GB+128GB, US$ 449 for 8GB+128GB (Rs. 35,600 approx.), and US$ 499 for 8GB+256GB (Rs. 39,565 approx.). It will be available for pre-order starting today in several countries via Xiaomi authorized online channels.
