Xiaomi India today announced that it has appointed Muralikrishnan B as the President of the company. This comes after the organizational changes it announced in June. At that time it said that Muralikrishnan B who joined the company in 2018 as Chief Operating Officer (COO) will continue in his post.
As the President of Xiaomi India, Muralikrishnan B will be responsible for day to day operations, services, public affairs, strategic projects and will continue to work towards strengthening the company’s commitment towards the Make in India and Digital India initiative, said th ecompany.
To remind you, last year Manu Kumar Jain, who was the company’s India head, transitioned to a global role as Group Vice President, and is responsible for International Strategy, including International Marketing and PR.
Xiaomi India said that it will focus towards reinforcing its commitment to the country, and will continue to stay true to its core philosophy of delivering innovation for everyone.
The company said that the changes will come into effect by 1st August 2022.
