After rumours, OPPO has confirmed the launch of OPPO Watch 3 in China on August 10th. The company already confirmed  that the watch will be powered by Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 wearable platform. Today, it has posted an official image of the watch that shows a metal body, crown and a curved screen that is different from older models.
In addition to Snapdragon W5 wearable flagship chip, the watch will use Apollo4 Plus companion chip. It will come with a 1.91-inch AMOLED LTPO 3D curved screen, support ECG, NFC and 5ATM water resistance, up to 5-day of battery life with normal use and up to 15-days with smart mode, according to earlier reports.
The watch is said to come in three models, OWW211/212/213 with support for eSIM for standalone voice calling capabilities. The ColorOS for Watch is said to get several new features.
The OPPO Watch 3 will come in silver and black colours with a leather and silicone strap options. We should know more details about the smartwatch in the coming days, before it goes official next Wednesday.
