Xiaomi MIX Fold 2, Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4″ and Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro to be announced on August 11


Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun today confirmed that he will deliver his annual speech, “Reflecting on life’s highs and lows.” on August 11th. At the event, the company said that it will introduce Xiaomi MIX Fold 2, successor to last year’s foldable. In addition, the company will introduce the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4-inch and Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro.

The teaser image shows the phone in golden colour and its hinge.Xiaomi said that the MIX Fold 2 will break through the last mile of the folding screen and make changes happen.

According to leaker Digital Chat Station, the external has 2520 x 1080 pixel resolution and 21:9 aspect ratio. According to leaker Bald Panda, both the internal and external screens feature 120Hz refresh rate and the external screen uses Samsung’s E5 AMOLED screen and the internal screen has Samsung Eco² OLED offering 25% reduced power consumption.

The phone is said to feature a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor, OIS, 13MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2x telephoto camera. The teaser shows Leica branding. It should be powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and support Dolby Vision HDR video capture. It is said to use Surge C1 chip for charging.

Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4″

The Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro 12.4-inch has a bigger screen size, and shows a 50MP camera along with a secondary camera. We can expect a bigger battery, but it is not clear if this will be powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro

The Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro, successor to last year’s Buds 3 Pro, features an in-ear design and comes in a golden colour with a matching case. The company has confirmed support for 48dB intelligent dynamic noise reduction and independent spatial audio from the inside to the outside to give you a “refreshing” music listening experience.
