Ola S1 reservation begins — up to 141 KM range, Rs. 99,999 introductory price


Ola Electric launched the Ola s1 and S1 Pro electric scooters in India a year back, starting at an introductory Rs. 99,999. After the sale of S1 Pro from last year, today, the company has started pre-reservations for the Ola S1 on its website by paying Rs. 499 till August 31st.

Availability and Payment options

The introductory price of Rs. 99,999 remains the same.  The purchase window will open in September and the delivery will start in September itself.

The company offers several payment options, including cash on delivery. It will offer loan processing waiver in partnership with leading banks and the EMI will start at Rs. 2,999. The Ola S1 comes in Jet Black, Porcelain white, Neo Mint and Liquid Silver colours.

Features of Ola S1

To remind you, the S1 has a 3kWh battery with Indian Drive Cycle (IDC) range of 141 KM, true range of 128 KM in Eco Mode, 101 KM in normal mode and 90 KM in sports mode. It has a top speed of 95 kmph, but it doesn’t have the hyper mode which the S1 Pro has. Other features are the same as the S1 Pro.

The company already said that MoveOS 3 with features such as hill hold, proximity unlock, moods, regen v2, hypercharging, calling, and key sharing MoveOS 3 will be available to both S1 and S1 Pro consumers this Diwali (October).

The company today launched up to 5 years extended warranty that covers the battery, motor and other components. The extended warranty is available for both the S1 and S1 Pro users.

Ola HyperCharge Network

Ola HyperCharger was announced last year, and the company claimed that it can charge up to 50% in 18 minutes, and added that it is building HyperCharger network with 100K+ charging stations in 400 cities across India.

Today, the CEO Bhavish Aggarwal said that it will launch up to 100 hyperchargers across the top 50 cities in November. The Ola HyperCharge Network will continue to expand in the future.
