Google just introduced the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, the company’s latest flagship smartphone and also launched the phone in India, as it had promised. The Pixel 7 comes with a smaller 6.32-inch FHD+ OLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, and smaller battery. The Pixel 7 Pro comes with a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ OLED display with 10-120Hz variable refresh rate. These have 25% higher peaker brightness than the predecessor.
Both the smartphones are powered by Google Tensor G2 SoC with support for 5G SA/NSA and come with Titan M2 Security chip. These run Android 13, and similar to the Pixel 6 series, these will get security updates for 5 years, and OS updates should be for 3 years.
The phones have zirconia-blasted matte aluminum and a polished aluminum frame, respectively. These have Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection on the front and the back and have IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance.
Both the phones feature a 50-megapixel camera and a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens, and the Pixel 7 Pro has an autofocus ultrawide camera with macro option, and also has a 48MP telephoto camera with support for 5x optical zoom and 30x digital zoom compared to 4x optical zoom and 20x digital zoom compared to Pixel 6 Pro.
Both these feature Photo unblur, Cinematic Blur for portrait video, feature a 10.8MP front camera with support for face unlock, and have 10-bit HDR video recording that also works with Snap, TikTok and YouTube.
The Pixel 7 has a 4355mAh battery and the Pixel 7 Pro has a 5000mAh battery, both with 30W fast charging and wireless charging. These promise up to 72 hours of battery life in extreme battery saver mode.

The Pixel 7 comes in Obsidian, Lemongrass and Snow colours and is priced at Rs. 59,999 for the single 128GB version.
The Pixel 7 Pro comes in Obsidian, Hazel and Snow colours in India and is priced at Rs. 84,999 for the 128GB version. These are available to pre-order on Flipkart and will go on sale starting from October 13th.
