On International E-Waste Day, ASUS India, with a commitment to ensuring a greener tomorrow, takes a step towards creating a sustainable environment with the introduction of the campaign, #DiscardResponsibly2.0.
The programme, which aims to instil a sense of responsibility in residents, is a step toward promoting a sustainable environment by raising awareness of the effects of careless disposal of electronic trash on the planet.
ASUS Discard Responsibly 2.0
Discard Responsibly is a campaign that offers free home pick-up for outdated electronics across India during the campaign period in an effort to both inform and raise awareness of responsible e-waste disposal among customers. A microsite and a Toll-Free Number have been made available by ASUS to help the e-waste management initiative run smoothly. Customers simply need to dial the toll-free number 1800 2090 365.
ASUS is helping the “Recycle it all, no matter how little” theme of Global 2022 by encouraging people to take part in the campaign and get rid of their e-waste responsibly.
- The brand will concentrate on collecting the typical tiny electrical items that we no longer use but store in drawers and cabinets or frequently throw out in a general rubbish bin as part of the programme.
- Products like electronic toothbrushes, iPads, cameras, headphones, smartwatches, fitness bands, and earbuds/AirPods.
- Alternatively, people who are interested can book a free pickup via the website by providing the required information, such as pickup date, time, pin code, etc.
International E-Waste Day: Asus Campaign
The campaign will go live on, 12th October i.e. from today onwards, and will run till 31st October 2022.
After October 31, 22, people who want to get rid of their electronic waste can still call the toll-free number 1800 2090 365 or visit the website to get in touch with ASUS India’s disposal centers.
