Dimensity 9200 benchmark surfaces, reveals GPU improvements

Details about the the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC surfaced last week. Now the AnTuTu benchmark of the chip has surfaced, revealing over 1.26 million or 12 lakh scores. The score is considerable higher than the Dimensity 9000+. It is said to use Cortex X3 prime cores compared to Cortex X2 and new Immortalis G715 GPU.

The latest iQOO Neo7 powered by Dimensity 9000+ scored around 10 lakhs in AnTuTu. Even though the upgrade in CPU is not major, the 5.5 lakh GPU score from Immortalis G715 GPU in the Dimensity 9200 is a major increase compared to 3.9 lakh with the Mali-G710 GPU in Dimensity 9000+.

The MEM score is 2.46 lakhs, and the UX score is 1.95 which are higher, but it is not a major increase compared to the predecessor. We will have to wait for the Snapdragon 8 Gen’s to score to compare it.

vivo X90 is expected to be one of the phones to be powered MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC. The chip expected to be announced in November and the devices powered by it are expected in December.
