Disney+ Hotstar introduces ‘Follow On’ for T20 World Cup

In the midst of the excitement surrounding the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, Disney+ Hotstar has introduced a new feature called Follow On. Follow On is a specialized video stream that gives a real-time report of what’s happening in cricket, including statistics, expert opinions, and insights into the game.

Announcing the Disney+ Hotstar feature, it was noted that Follow On would provide real-time exclusive feed and commentary of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022. To recall, earlier this year, Disney+ Hotstar introduced new audio features ahead of the Tata IPL 2022 Finals.

Follow On: Special feed for freemium users

Follow On is now accessible to all users on Disney+ Hotstar, including paying subscribers as well as freemium users. When the free live cricket timer, which gives freemium subscribers a free taste of live cricket, is over, freemium subscribers of Disney+ Hotstar will be able to watch the game without any breaks.

Follow On’s cricket analysts, including Sunil Vaidya, Sanjay Banerjee, Raman Bhanot, Vineet Garg, Naveen Srivastava, Reema Malhotra, Ajay Mehra, Padmajeet Sehrawat, and Manoj Sharma, can be seen by Follow On’s viewers providing intelligent commentary with graphics and visuals in Hindi.

Availability

Non-subscribers (free users) can now get the exclusive Follow On live feed for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

Commenting on the launch of Follow On, Disney+ Hotstar spokesperson said,

Disney+ Hotstar has always delivered the best-in-class live sports experience in India. With Follow On, we’re raising the bar by democratizing access to premium cricket entertainment with a real-time account of the cricket action to all users – including our freemium viewers.

Every Disney+ Hotstar user is valuable to us, and we constantly strive to deliver innovation that helps users engage deeper with our platform. We look forward to rolling out Follow On to users that will further bolster Disney+ Hotstar’s position as the one-stop-shop for cricketainment.
