Airtel has launched 5G services in Patna, Bihar. Airtel 5G is currently operational at Patna Sahib Gurudwara, Patna Railway Station, Dak Bunglow, Maurya Lok, Bailey Road, Boring Road, City Centre Mall, Patliputra Industrial Area and few other select locations.
The 5G service is also available at Jay Prakash Narayan Airport in Patna, after rolling it out at new terminal in Bengaluru, Pune, Varanasi and Nagpur airports.
The company said that it will augment its network, making its services available across the city in due course of time.
Airtel 5G is already available in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Siliguri, Nagpur, Varanasi, Panipat, Gurugram and Guwahati.
Airtel already announced that its 5G service will be available in all key metros by the end of this year, all of urban India in 2023 and across the country by March 2024. Since the existing Airtel 4G SIM is 5G enabled, no SIM change needed to enjoy 5G services.
