Nothing, a London-based startup, is expected to launch a sub-brand called “Particles By XO” soon. Tipster Kuba Wojciechowski offered some renders of a one-of-a-kind TWS that would be released under this sub-brand, which was mentioned in Nothing’s firmware.
It’s not clear if the upcoming TWS earbuds will be dubbed XO or Particles by XO.
Particles By Xo, on the other hand, has been registered as a trademark in the United States under the category of earphones and headphones.
According to renderings, the TWS earbuds have a unique peanut-shaped design that resembles the combination of two particles. It will be an in-ear design, with the body facing upwards when placed in the ear due to the L-shaped form factor. With its circular form, the charging case appears to be minimalist.
The earphones are designated B154, and firmware from Nothing’s servers confirms that the TWS earbuds will support LHDC and have ANC. So overall, it’s expected to be a premium TWS earbuds from the firm in a fashionable design.
We are anticipating this announcement of the earbuds in the United States, as well as the market launch of Phone (1), as confirmed by founder Carl Pei in his tweet. More information on this should be available in the following weeks.
