HONOR just announced the HONOR 80 GT, the company’s latest gaming phone in the HONOR 80 series, as it had promised. The phone has a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, peak brightness of up to 1400 nits, and 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.
It is powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC with independent display chip, so the game frame rate can be increased by up to 100%, and the power consumption is reduced by 25%, says the company. There is 4386mm² bionic VC, as thin as 0.35mm, with ultra-dense copper mesh woven with 1415 copper wires, 74mm ultra-long bionic fiber, superconducting hexagonal crystal graphene and AI intelligent thermal management system.
It has a 54MP main camera (Sony IMX800), 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro camera, and a front 16MP front camera. The HONOR 80 GT packs a 4,800mAh battery and has support for 66W fast charging.

Pricing and availability
The HONOR 80 GT comes in Meteor Blue, White and Interstellar Black colours and is priced at 3299 yuan (US$ 473 / Rs. 39,205 approx.) for the 12GB+256GB model and the 16GB+256GB model costs 3599 yuan (US$ 517 / Rs. 42,770 approx.). It is now available to order and will go on sale in China starting from January 1, 2023.
