Airtel has launched 5G services in Jammu and Srinagar. Airtel 5G is currently operational at Raghunath Bazar, Gandhi Nagar, Channi Himmat, Panjthirthi, Jammu secretariat, Bahu fort, Bahu plaza, Jammu railway station, Govt medical college, Canal Road in Jammu and Lal Chowk, Dal lake, Rajbagh, Kashmir University, Karan Nagar, Channpora, Sringar secretariat, Nishant Garden, Chashma shahi, Old city in Kashmir and few other select locations.
The company said that it will augment its network, making its services available across the city in due course of time.
Airtel 5G is already available in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Siliguri, Nagpur, Varanasi, Panipat, Gurugram, Guwahati, Patna, Lucknow, Shimla, Imphal, Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Vizag and Pune.
Airtel already announced that its 5G service will be available in all key metros by the end of this year, all of urban India in 2023 and across the country by March 2024. Since the existing Airtel 4G SIM is 5G enabled, no SIM change needed to enjoy 5G services.
