Tech Mahindra, an Indian multinational IT services and consulting company, has announced a strategic partnership with Microsoft to enable cloud-powered 5G core network modernization for telecom operators globally.
Tech Mahindra will assist telecom operators in building out their 5G core networks by providing its talent expertise, comprehensive solutions, and managed service offerings like “Network Cloudification as a Service” and AIOps.
Using the Microsoft cloud, Tech Mahindra’s iSustain solution for sustainability management will track key performance indicators (KPIs) in the areas of environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and governance.
Tech Mahindra’s AIOps will enable operators to deploy and manage 5G core networks and use cloud, big data, and machine learning to automate network operations processes like event correlation and anomaly detection, predict fault and performance issues, and enable self-serving network operations.
The 5G core network transformation will assist telecom operators in developing 5G core use cases and meeting their customers’ growing technological requirements like AR/VR, IoT, and edge computing.
Tech Mahindra further believes that this transformation would further enable operators to modernise, optimise, and secure business operations and develop green networks with reduced costs and a faster time to market.
Further, Tech Mahindra will also enhance the operator’s network and operations security with SenTindra, a Microsoft Sentinel-based cloud-based virtual security operations center.
SenTindra’s 300+ scenarios and workflows would meet telecom operators’ cloud visibility, monitoring, and orchestration needs. This ensures network uptime and safety.
