OnePlus today detailed how it is working on software to make the experience fast and smooth on the upcoming OnePlus 11 5G. It said that it will continue to monitor the feedback from its valued community to explore new ways of delivering fast and smooth experiences.
More reasons to smile with the #OnePlus11:
4⃣ years of Fast and Smooth, certified
4⃣ generations of OxygenOS
5⃣ years of security updates— OnePlus (@oneplus) January 31, 2023
As confirmed last year, OnePlus once again confirmed that the OnePlus 11 will be its first phone to get 4 generations of OxygenOS updates and 5 years of security updates.
The company said that it has worked with TÜV SÜD to test the overall fluency of the OnePlus 11 5G with an aging model that allowed it to simulate how the phone smartphone performs after four years.
Regarding this, OnePlus said:
TÜV SÜD also tests the OnePlus 11 5G to evaluate its screen latency, tap sensitivity, accuracy, and battery-charging technology. The results are very impressive and, if you are curious, we can confirm that we’re going to share our achievements with you at our launch event on February 7.
To close this chapter, I want to confirm that the OnePlus 11 5G also earned a certification for SGS for its perceived fluency. If you are not aware, SGS is the world’s leading testing, inspection, and certification company, recognized as the global benchmark for quality and integrity.
The test relies on user feedback on the fluency of the OnePlus 11 5G and its performance against a set of objective performance indicators.
