Netflix announced spatial audio back in July for all the devices and plans. Today, the company has announced that the feature is now limited to Premium plan, and also said that it is available for over 700 of most popular TV shows and movies.
For a list of compatible titles, you can “Spatial Audio” in the Netflix search bar, or look for the spatial audio icon next to the title’s description. Netflix said that it will be adding spatial audio to popular new titles as they’re released, including You, Your Place or Mine, Luther: The Fallen Sun, and Tour de France.
The company has also posted a demo video to showcase the new feature.
Download support for more devices for Premium Plan
Netflix’s Premium plan is also getting support for more download devices. It has increased the devices from four to six for premium members.
Netflix said that this increase is after it has learned through research that members would like the option to download Netflix series and films to watch offline on more devices, particularly as they travel and switch between devices.
