LG has introduced Miraclass LED screen brand for cinemas. The lineup of LED screens promise realistic images with natural colors and deep blacks. The company already offers Cinebeam Laser 4K projectors.
Highlights of LG Miraclass LED screen
- Four product lineups offering different sizes (from 14 to 101 square meters) and screen resolutions (4K/2K) to choose from.
- With 24-bit color processing, capable of displaying 68.7 billion color variants, the LG Miraclass reproduces DCI-P3 colors just as the content creators intended.
- Made up of self-emissive LEDs working independently, resulting in a bright and brilliant picture quality, with no corner dimming or image distortion.
- Screen brightness can be adjusted across five stages, from 48 to 300 nits, offering suitability for various use scenarios – from playing 2D/3D movies to delivering content for company presentations or special ceremonies.
- At five meters-wide, models LDAA025-1 and LDAA012 are good options for small-capacity theaters
- Compatible with Dolby’s Integrated Media Server, IMS3000. Dolby IMS supports stable and professional content operation, while the combination of Dolby Atmos sound and LG picture quality makes movies truly memorable.
- Dedicated management software is on hand to help operators run the new LED screens smoothly and with confidence. Various functions can now be accessed at the touch of a button.
- As LG Miraclass does not need a projection room, a space behind the stuffy theater can be reinvented to more customer satisfying interiors.
Availability
LG said that its LED based displays are already functional in several major theater chains around the world that include Odeon Multicines theater in Vilanova in Spain, with more displays arriving soon in Odeon Multicines theaters in the cities of Madrid and Barcelona.
The company said that more installations are on the way throughout Asia, Europe and North America.
