Sony Xperia 1 V surfaces in first set of renders

Green Smartphones and OnLeaks have just revealed the renders for the upcoming Sony Xperia 1 V. The phone boasts a triple camera setup and a similar design language to its predecessor, the Xperia 1 IV. It’s expected to have the same dimensions and be released this summer.

The Xperia 1 V will maintain its signature features, including a headphone jack, camera shutter button, and it will also have a volume rocker on the same side and a central USB-C port located at the bottom, next to the SIM tray. The phone is expected to run on the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, similar to the Samsung Galaxy S23, and offer double the RAM at 16GB.

The Sony Xperia 1 V is expected to run Android 13. And from the images, it appears that the fingerprint reader might be integrated into the power button located on the side of the device.

The design of the Xperia 1 V will remain square-shaped and feature a matte finish, similar to its predecessor. The camera flash has been integrated into the camera bump for a sleeker look. Additionally, the camera bump is expected to be more pronounced, with a sloped rim that will match the color of the device.
