Samsung introduced the Galaxy S23 series smartphones at an event in San Francisco earlier this month. As promised, the company has announced the global availability of the smartphones from today. It also says that it has received impressive pre-order results.
Last year, Samsung said that the Galaxy S22 series pre-orders were more than double that of the Galaxy S21 series within the first week.
This year, pre-order results were even higher than those of the Galaxy S22 series, with over 60% of consumers opting for the most premium Galaxy S23 Ultra, said the company.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra brings a new 200MP Adaptive Pixel sensor and retains the embedded S Pen. The S23 series brings a new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform for Galaxy globally with improved performance. The phones have new Samsung Message Guard sandboxing tool, preemptively protects against zero-click exploit attacks.
Availability
Starting today, February 17, 2023, the Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 will be widely available through carriers and retailers and on samsung.com, as well as other online retailers such as Amazon.in as well as offline stores.
The devices are also available in a variety of unique, online exclusive colors, only available at samsung.com. The Galaxy S23 Ultra is available in Graphite, Lime, Sky Blue, and Red.
3D billboard campaign
Samsung has also started a 3D billboard campaign to celebrate the launch of the Galaxy S23 series. The campaign highlights the design of the Galaxy S23 series inspired by the planet, with striking visuals. First kicking-off in Seoul, the campaign will roll out in other global cities around the world over the coming weeks.
