Google has announced that Magic Eraser, along with additional Google Photos features, will be available to more people through Google One and other enhanced editing features. The tech giant has also revealed that they have added AI-powered editing tools like Magic Eraser that was first introduced with the Pixel 6 series.
Eliminate Distractions with Magic Eraser
It can be frustrating when you take the perfect shot only to find distractions in the background. Magic Eraser can detect and remove these distractions, like photobombers or power lines, with just a few taps.
You can also circle or brush away other items you want to erase, and Magic Eraser will make them disappear. Camouflage in Magic Eraser can also change the color of objects in the photo, helping them blend in and keep the focus on what matters.
Balanced Videos with the HDR Effect
The HDR effect can be used to balance dark foregrounds and bright backgrounds, or vice versa, to ensure that every detail is accounted for. Additionally, it can be used to enhance the brightness and contrast of videos, resulting in dramatic and balanced videos ready for sharing.
Google Photos Updates Collage Editor
Google Photos has added several new features to the collage editor to give users more options.
- Standard users can now apply Styles to a single photo in the collage editor.
- Google One members and Pixel users have access to additional Styles for the collage editor.

Starting today, Google One members, both on Android and iOS, and all Pixel users can now take advantage of Magic Eraser, HDR video effects, and exclusive collage styles in Google Photos. These features are now available to all Google One members, regardless of their plan, and all Pixel users.
