At MWC2023, OPPO has introduced its range of flagship devices, including the pocketable OPPO Find N2 Flip, as well as its four Smart Initiatives – smart entertainment, smart productivity, smart health, and smart learning.
OPPO Find N2 Flip
OPPO’s first vertically folding phone, the Find N2 Flip, has become a much sought-after device. It has a 3.26-inch cover screen, the largest of any flip phone, a 50MP main camera, MariSilicon X NPU and Hasselblad imaging system, as well as a New Generation Flexion Hinge that allows the screen to be set at any angle between 45–110 degrees.
Additionally, the Flexion Hinge ensures that the crease remains unobtrusive even after long-term use. The phone also has a massive 4,300mAh battery and 44W SUPERVOOC fast charging, making it the first flip to comfortably last a full day of typical use.
Find N2 Flip and Find N2 are also Official Smartphones of the UEFA Champions League. UEFA Champions League Ambassadors and football stars, Michael Owen and Luis Garcia, became the first global users to experience the incredible OPPO Find N2 Flip on the first day of MWC.
OPPO Showcases “Virtuous Innovation”
At the OPPO booth, visitors can experience OPPO’s latest flagship phones such as Find N2 and IoT products including Enco X2, Watch Pad, and 45W Liquid Cooler.
Based on its four Smart Initiatives: smart entertainment, smart productivity, smart health, and smart learning, OPPO has brought a number of technology milestones to the event.
Smart Productivity
OPPO has further expanded its communication technology product portfolios with the OPPO Wi-Fi 6 Router AX5400. Based on the Qualcomm® Immersive Home 216 Platform, the router supports the Wi-Fi 6 AX5400 standard and provides a 2.4GHz+5GHz dual-band Wi-Fi signal at the same time.
The combination of high-gain antennas, OPPO’s self-developed anti-interference algorithm, and network directional speed-up technology provides wider coverage, enhanced stability, and faster speeds.
The router’s cylindrical design with hidden antennas fits perfectly in modern homes, and its unique internal structure helps with heat dissipation for always-on connectivity.
OPPO Zero-Power Tag
The OPPO Zero-Power Tag is the first prototype device which uses OPPO’s Zero-power Communication technology to achieve its functionality and communication without a battery. Leveraging RF signal harvesting, backscattering, and low-power computing, it is able to meet the needs of 6G era IoT.
This device has demonstrated its capabilities in item identification and location, and collecting data from temperature sensors, all powered by RF energy.
Other Smart Initiatives
OPPO has showcased its other Smart Initiatives, such as the MariSilicon Y, their first self-developed flagship Bluetooth audio SoC, their ultra-light AR glasses, the OHealth H1, a family health monitor concept device, and the SUPERVOOC S, their first end-to-end power management chip.
OPPO Technology and Sustainability
OPPO is demonstrating a variety of technological breakthroughs with partners EEG from IDUN Technologies, Cynteract’s glove for hand injury rehabilitation, hardware accelerated ray tracing technology with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, Android features such as Nearby Share and Fast Pair on OPPO devices, and trials of Google One and YouTube Premium for 6 months.
Committed to Carbon Neutrality
Under its mission of “Technology for Mankind, Kindness for the World”, OPPO has taken initiatives to ensure sustainability in its long-term development strategy. By 2022, OPPO will have reduced greenhouse gas emissions by 6000 tons yearly.
Starting in 2023, OPPO will replace all plastic external packaging with 100% biodegradable materials. OPPO is also committed to achieving carbon neutrality across its global operations by 2050.
OPPO Publishes Climate Action Report
On the opening day of MWC2023, OPPO released its first Climate Action Report, the OPPO Climate Action Report: Climate Pledges and Low Carbon Development Strategy, co-developed with global consultancy Deloitte.
The report proposes OPPO’s goal of achieving carbon neutrality across its global operations by 2050 and outlines its future plan for low carbon development. This intends to enable OPPO to become a low-carbon enterprise.
