After teasers, Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of Redmi Fire TV in India on March 14th. This will be the company’s first TV with Fire OS since all others models run Android TV. The company has confirmed that it will be a 32-inch model.
It promises a premium experience with Fire OS 7 that has smart hub control, and the new remote has a shortcut for Alexa instead of Google Assistant, along with quick launch buttons for Prime Video, Netflix and Amazon Music.
It will come with a metallic bezel and promises outstanding visuals and an immersive audio experience. The TV will come with a range of connectivity features such as dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, Airplay and Miracast.
Finally, the TV will come in an eco-friendly packaging that lets you cut open the box to make a Mi Bunny storage unit. This was first introduced in the Redmi Smart TV X series in 2021.
The Redmi Fire TV will also be sold on Amazon.in, in addition to mi.com. We should know more details about the TV in the coming days, before it goes official in less than a couple of weeks.
