After rumours, Samsung has confirmed the launch of Galaxy F14 5G, successor to last year’s F13 in India on March 24th. The company says that it is the first phone in the segment to be powered by a 5nm chip, which is Exynos 1330. The phone has support for 13 5G bands.
The phone will come in 4GB and 6GB RAM versions, with up to 6GB of additional virtual RAM with RAM Plus. It will come with a 6.6-inch FHD+ screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, run Android 13 with OneUI 5.0, and the company has promised 2 OS updates and 4 years of security updates for the phone.
Samsung says that it is the first phone in the segment to packs a 6000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. This promises 2 days of battery life.
The company also hints at under Rs. 15,000 starting price for the phone. It will be sold on Flipkart, in addition to Samsung.com.
