OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G
The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G will feature OnePlus’ signature ‘Fast and Smooth Experience’ and has an eye-catching design that stands out from the crowd with the new Pastel Lime colour that is bright, refreshing and resembles the life-like feel of a green plant. There is also a change in the camera layout, and the image shows triple cameras.
The next Nord phone follows on from the success of its predecessors, and OnePlus says that the smartphone will pack elevated key features into an affordable package.
The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G will feature a 6.72-inch FHD+ screen with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate that matches the user’s habits to save the battery. This is bigger than the 6.59-inch screen in the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G. The screen is also brighter since this offers up to 680 nits peak brightness, and features 91.4% screen-to-body ratio since the bezels are smaller.
The phone will be powered by the reliable Snapdragon 695 Mobile Platform for the best performance and GPU performance. The phone will have 8GB of virtual RAM expansion that will let you multitask and switch between the apps faster than ever.
The Nord CE 3 Lite 5G will run OxygenOS 13.1 that will feature an upgraded GPA frame rate stabilization technology actively learns and adapts to the user’s game. The Game Focus Mode blocks unwanted notifications and helps prevent mis-touch for a streamlined gameplay experience.
The camera will also get an upgrade from 64MP to 108MP. The 108MP camera uses 9-in-1 pixel binning for a brighter, clearer and more natural photos. It will offer 3x lossless zoom with higher clarity and detail, which especially be useful in low light zoom scenarios, thanks to Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS).
As revealed so far, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G is going to boast of a huge 5,000 mAh battery that can power the device for an entire day of gaming, surfing, and streaming. The phone gets an upgrade from 33W SUPERVOOC rapid charging to 67W SUPERVOOC fast charging that can charge the 5,000mAh battery from 0% to 80% in just 30 minutes. In half an hour, you get power for a full day of use.
The SUPERVOOC Endurance Edition charging that is usually present only in flagship OnePlus devices has been added. This feature, backed with Battery Health Engine, provides smart adaptive charging technology that matches user charging and sleeping habits to prevent over-charging and prematurely aging the battery, increasing its lifespan by up to 4 years of daily charging. Additionally, with 12 built-in temperature sensors, it should offer a safe, low temperature charging experience.
In addition to Pastel Lime, the phone will also come in Chromatic Gray, offering a dark and stormy look with a slight glossy shine.
OnePlus Nord Buds 2
OnePlus will also introduce the Nord Buds 2, successor to the popular Nord Buds, at the event. The teaser reveals a familiar compact case and an in-ear design for the earbuds. It will come in two colors with the black version featuring a unique speckled design. The promos also hint at a Flash charge feature for the earbuds, similar to the predecessor.
The OnePlus Nord Buds 2 will feature 12.4mm Dual Drivers with a larger diaphragm, offering an increase in the bass quality by allowing more air inflow. An added layer of titanium in the vibrating diaphragm improves audio stiffness and provides instantaneous response for ultimately bolder and crystal clear audio
In addition, the BassWave algorithm will allow audio quality to stay true to its original quality and exhibits a broad bass. To balance the sound quality, the dynamic bass enhancement compensates for weak bass pitches and only slightly for strong bass.
