Over 100K C55 units sold in 5 hours, says realme India


realme launched the realme C55 smartphone in India last week. It went on sale for the first time yesterday, March 28th at 12 noon from Flipkart, realme.com and offline stores

The company has announced that 100K or 1 lakh units were sold out within the first 5 hours on its first sale across all the channels.

realme said that the C55 had received over 66K Pre-orders, the highest ever in the C-series.

During the sale, buyers got flat INR 500 for the 4GB+64GB variant and INR 1000 off for the 8GB + 128GB variant on ICICI credit cards, EMI and netbanking on realme.com.

Users can also avail offers on HDFC credit cards, Debit cards and EMI on Flipkart, bringing the effective price of 4GB+64GB variant to INR 10,499 and the 8GB + 128GB to INR 12,999.

To remind you, the phone packs a 6.72-inch FHD+ 90Hz LCD screen, 8MP camera inside the punch-hole, realme mini capsule, is powered by Helio G88 with up to 8GB of RAM and additional 8GB of virtual RAM.

It has a 64MP rear camera along with a 2MP depth sensor, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and packs a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging that can charge the phone fully in 63 minutes.
