Today, Microsoft unveiled the latest addition to their Surface Dock lineup: the Surface Thunderbolt 4 Dock. This dock expands the Thunderbolt 4 connectivity support to include the Surface Pro 9, Surface Laptop 5, and Surface Laptop Studio.
The Surface Thunderbolt 4 Dock is a versatile USB4/Thunderbolt 4 dock that enhances workspace, enables fast data transfer, and supports charging for Surface and other devices. It allows connection to two 4K monitors, offers high-speed data transfer of up to 40Gbps, and provides power of up to 96W for charging devices and accessories. It has multiple USB-C and USB-A ports, Ethernet, audio jack, and security lock slot.
It is also compatible with Windows 11, retaining settings when connecting to multiple devices. The dock is made of recycled materials, including 20% ocean-bound plastic, and is packaged sustainably. It is designed for commercial IT efficiency with features like Firmware Update, Wake on LAN, and SEMM for secure and restricted access in mission-critical environments. And, It is not compatible Surface Duo/Surface Duo 2 devices.

Pricing and availability
The Microsoft Surface Thunderbolt 4 Dock is now available for purchase at Microsoft.com for a price of US$ 299.99 (Rs. 24,640 approx.). It will also be offered alongside Microsoft’s range of Surface Dock, Surface Dock 2, and Microsoft USB-C Travel Hub products.
