Microsoft unveiled its latest update for SwiftKey, making the Bing AI experience easily accessible with just a single touch on any iOS or Android device that supports third-party keyboards. This comes after Microsoft recently rolled out Bing Chat AI into SwiftKey beta for Android.
The latest version of SwiftKey introduces an expanded array of access points and enhancements to Bing experiences. This includes updates to existing app integrations across Bing, Skype, Microsoft Start, and Microsoft Edge apps, showcasing the continuous efforts to improve and integrate Bing services into a seamless user experience.

Microsoft SwiftKey, offers three integrations with Bing: Chat, Tone, and Search. Chat allows for on-the-go detailed queries, Tone helps customize text for different situations, and Search allows for quick web searches without leaving the keyboard.
Chat: Access Bing on the go for detailed queries, useful for finding clever puns in chat conversations or suggesting local restaurants to new friends in a new area.
Tone: Customize your in-progress text with AI to fit any situation, helping with formal work emails, language nuances, and word choice. Choose from professional, casual, polite, or concise tones for your text.
Search: Quickly search the web from your keyboard without switching apps, useful for looking up information during conversations such as weather, nearby restaurants, or stock prices.
Bing App: Gender-Inclusive Translator
The Bing app’s translator now offers alternative masculine and feminine translations to promote inclusivity and avoid gender bias when translating from English to Spanish, French, or Italian.
Skype: Expanded Bing Access in Group Chats
The new Bing is now available in Skype group chats, allowing everyone in the group to use it for various purposes, such as settling debates, planning trips, or finding restaurants. Just search for ‘Bing in Skype’ in your contacts and add it to a group chat.
Microsoft Start: New Bing Experience
The new Bing is now accessible via the Microsoft Start app for users who have cleared the waitlist.
The Start app offers personalized news feeds, including premium content from global publishers, as well as sports scores, weather forecasts, stock prices, shopping deals, and more, to keep you informed and entertained – you can download the app from here.
Availability
Microsoft has introduced new AI-powered experiences on SwiftKey, including Chat, Search, and Tone, which are now available for users. Additionally, the new Bing in group chats on Skype is now accessible in all markets where the new Bing is available.
