iQOO introduced the Neo7 smartphone in China back in October powered by Dimensity 9000+ SoC, and the Neo7 Racing Edition powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 was introduced in December. Now the iQOO Neo8 Pro, the first phone in iQOO’s new Neo Pro series, has surfaced on AnTuTu with the model number V2302A.
This reveals that the Dimensity 9200+ will use the same 1 x ARM Cortex-X3 prime core, 3 x A715 performance cores and 4 x A510 power efficient CPU cores, but the prime core will be overclocked from the standard 3.05GHz.
The benchmark reveals a whopping 1.36 million AnTuTu score, beating the 1.33 million score achieved by OPPO Find X6 Pro powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 which currently leads the chart.
It also reveals 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, 512GB UFS 4.0 storage, Android 13 and 120Hz screen. Earlier rumours revealed a 1.5K 120Hz OLED screen and a 50MP rear camera for the phone.
MediaTek is expected to introduce the Dimensity 9200+ SoC sometime in May along with new Dimensity 7000 series SoC, so we can expect the iQOO Neo8 and Neo8 Pro series smartphones sometime in Q2 2023.
